Full Service - ONLY - Because you have just one pair of eyes
A surgeon's training and experience both contribute to the successful outcome of your LASIK procedure. Dr. Khater's training was conducted at Houston's premier eye institute, the Cullen Eye Institute at The Baylor College of Medicine. He is one of only a few surgeons nationwide with a full year of fellowship training in LASIK. Dr. Lambert's cornea fellowship training was at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, in Boston. He is one of Lubbock's premier cornea surgeons.
Safety comes first at our state-of-the-art laser facility. We use only FDA-approved equipment and the most advanced technology, including the latest VISX STAR S4 ActiveTrak eye-tracking laser. The three-dimensional eye tracker continuously monitors and adjusts the laser to account for eye movement during the procedure. Surgical supplies are packaged for each individual patient and are discarded after only one use. Premium Liebert closed-loop environmental controls and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) installed at the facility provide additional safety. All of these features are above and beyond the standards recommended by the FDA.
Laser Eye Center of Lubbock is the area's only laser center providing IntraLase Blade-free LASIK vision correction.
